I think I know the inspiration for this French sweet bread which actually originated in England so the legend goes…the inspiration for this wonderfully sweet, light and really pretty bread. They could have also named it Dawn til Dusk bread; not for the vampires but due to the 5+ hours it took to make it. Haven’t cut into it yet but it is stunning as you can see and has filled our home with the smell of my grandmother’s Sunday kitchen.
